Current project
Gaz v Gazbot
I’m building my own sovereign AI system in public, and taking you under the hood as I go. I’m on a mission to find out whether I can design and build an AI system that extends rather than displaces my creativity and capability.
What the show covers
Every capability I add to Gazbot raises a question that reaches well beyond the machine:
- What is a large language model, and where does its apparent intelligence come from?
- Where does the computing power come from, and what does it take to run?
- Who benefits when AI makes work more efficient?
- Who owns the infrastructure, and who gets access to it?
- Who makes the rules, and what are they?
You don’t need to know anything about AI to follow along. A curious newcomer checks that my explanations make sense outside the AI bubble, and experts step in when a question needs specialist knowledge or scrutiny.
You’re part of it
You can suggest tests for Gazbot, send in questions, share your experiences and help decide what I look into next. Each time I ask, I’ll say what I’m asking for, how I’ll use it and when I’ll report back, and then I’ll show what changed and what didn’t.
Where to watch
Gaz v Gazbot is launching in October 2026, with full episodes on YouTube and shorter pieces on TikTok and Instagram. A dedicated Gaz v Gazbot website is on the way.
